Good afternoon, Jewell! We have some exciting news to share with the community. We are attempting to bring both MS and HS wrestling to Jewell! HS wrestling would begin on November 13th and MS wrestling would begin on January 2nd after winter break. So, Jewell School is currently seeking up to two qualified candidates to help bring wrestling to Jewell School. Please contact Mark Freeman or submit an application with Allyce Chronister if you are interested. A possible big addition to our little school and it is exciting to think about!
Good afternoon, Jewell! Homecoming Week 2023 will begin on Monday, October 23rd. As part of the weeklong festivities, there will be fireworks launched on the evening of the 28th as part of the dance celebration. The fireworks will be launched at approximately 10 pm and the HS leadership kiddos wanted to get the word out so that you are all aware of the noise next Saturday night. Thank you!

Good morning, Jewell! Time to see if we can generate some interest in grades 2-4 for some Astoria Park & Recreation basketball! There is a signup sheet in the front office with Christy for you to sign up for your child if they are interested. The season runs from the end of October to the middle of February. The school has the facilities and will pay for the registration. At this point, all we need is the players. AND...an adult willing to lead our Little Jays on the hardwood. Please sign up your child with Christy in the front office and reach out to Mr. Freeman if you are interested in coaching our younger ones in the sport of basketball. Thank you!
